State Board of Education meets in Palm Beach Gardens next week

gavelThe State Board of Education meeting is coming to Palm Beach Gardens next week. The seven-member panel and the state’s Education Commissioner Pam Stewart will attend a workshop Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Palm Beach State College’s campus on PGA Boulevard. The next morning at 8:30, the board holds its meeting.

The public can comment only at the regular meeting and only on items on the agenda, which includes approval of the state’s testing calendar and various matters regarding the state’s Voluntary Prekindergarten program.  See the full agenda here. 

At the workshop, the board is set to discuss “Workforce Trends and Demands” and “Pathways to a Career”.
